Matt B At Podium 819x1024

When corporations face their most difficult moments, they call Matt Barkett.

With decades of experience navigating high-stakes corporate crises, Matt Barkett has served as lead communications counsel for some of the nation's most complex and high-profile incidents. From aviation accidents and cyber security to labor relations and litigation, his clients have included major corporations, insurers, private equity firms, and legal teams who needed steady, strategic counsel under pressure.
Barkett Crisis Consulting was founded on a simple premise: organizations deserve a communications partner who has been in the room before, knows how to communicate with key audiences from media to customers, investors, employees and community leaders. We understand what's at stake when a company's reputation is on the line.

Calm Counsel, Strategic Solutions. That's Barkett Crisis Consulting.

Mission.

To provide corporations with clear, concise, and decisive communications counsel, before, during, and after a crisis  so clients can protect their reputation, their people and their future.

Vision.

To chart a clear path for clients to promptly and decisively address a crisis from start to finish, taking care to balance all actions against a key question: does what we say or do help end or in fact extend the storyline?
